| About CLUTCH: CLUTCH is a student-run fashion magazine that was created to be the ultimate local guide to style for the Florida State University student. The magazine was started in fall of 2006 and although receiving immediate local recognition, reached all new heights with it's second issue which was released during the spring 2007 semester. Along with the excitement, more sponsors, and a growing team, CLUTCH magazine directors decided to do something different with their second issue. A "Cover Girl Contest" was held to find FSU's perfect Cover Girl to 'grace the face' of the issue. The contest was a hit and many eligible ladies entered. Along with that added dimension to the magazine, an even greater thing happened for CLUTCH during the spring 2007 semester. MTV sought us out to get an interview with our founder and 2007 Editor-in-Chief, Ali Kolbe. It was to be put on the air for a fashion-themed TRL episode during late April. | What is CMA? CMA, also known as the Collegiate Merchandising Association, is a student run organization that helps other students prepare for a successful transition into a career in retailing through presentations, activities and guest speakers. CMA provides its members with invaluable information about the world that awaits them upon graduation. Our motto is: "Giving our members a helping hand toward tomorrow!" CLUTCH magazine is considered an entity of the Collegiate Merchandising Association @ the Florida State University, therefore students must be members of CMA to join our staff. |
